Even though I'm over the age of 16, I finally have a late interest in driving. Is it too late for me to learn how to drive? I really want to learn now, and I didn't think about it when I was 16. I'm getting tired of being driven around. Can you pray that I can have courage to practice driving? My main concern is, the people at the driving tests will probably think I'm weird for taking a driving test at 19 years old. I figured it's time to learn. Thoughts? I didn't drive until I was 23, and I was just as nervous as you are. Many women don't drive early...I have a sister in law that is 30 and still doesn't drive. You go girl, 19 is a great age to start...and it really isn't as hard as it looks.

Thanks Good The only reason I did do it was because my husband forced me to...he wanted me to be more independant. If it weren't for him I don't know if I would have until much later. You can do it! Drivers Ed. instructors are used to all types, so there's no need to be concerned about their perception of you. They know the nervousness of people behind the wheel.
