Mine is John 6:37: "All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will in no way cast out."

I have many, but since you want us to post but one, I choose this one. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God".

I like that one so much because it explains in a nutshell who Jesus was before He came to Earth, and why He is to be considered as God. Because He is God. Always was God, is God now, and always will be God. That one verse says all this. Someone once told me he refused to believe Jesus was God because a mere mortal cannot be God. But Jesus wasn't a mere mortal. He took on the form of mortality to reconcile us to God. But before He was born to Mary as a mortal He was in Heaven as God, and with God. And that's why I love this verse.

Isaiah 41:10

Fear not, for I am with you;

Be not dismayed, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you,

Yes, I will help you,

I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

Matthew 3:17

And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased."

Settles all the questions about "Who was the real Jesus?" When someone has that on their resume, it is easy to believe to everything else.

Revelation 21:4

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

2 Peter 3:13

13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

When Jesus walked the face of the earth, did He teach the Word in numbered Bible verses? To focus in on such a small part of an idea often causes the loss of what was meant during the whole of the conversion.

The idea that comforts me most is this one:

As for you(Dennis), you(Dennis) were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you(Dennis) used to live when you(Dennis) followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you (Dennis) have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you (Dennis, has) have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can (Dennis can not) boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

(Eph 2:1-10)

Sorry I just could not list just ONE verse...Hope you understand...
