If we roll over, its a strong step in the wrong direction. If we pick up our guns and fight, its an excuse to call for martial law, and ensues civil war, and then, naturally the UN gets involved, and we lose our rights anyway. Its a lose/lose scenario. Though, on the more serious side, ive spent some time in a third world country, where guns were "illegal" I say that, because per capita, there were just as many guns there, as there were in the US. (and people think "banning guns" removes them) and there, the police were so corrupt, that if you shot someone in your home for any reason, even in self defense, unless you could afford to bribe the cops, you did bury them in the backyard, and not tell anyone. And, it did happen over there. A lot of people just "mysteriously disappeared" and a lot of cops "got mysteriously richer" So, thats something to look forward to if Americas allowed to go down this dark path.
