What do you think about what this person has to say?

Thank You, Good Stuff

And I Would Add That, As A Lawer He Really Should Know

To Quote A Citation For Each Issue He Addresses From The Big Book Of Law

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17

Some of the people I work with are getting nervous about having little ones now.Keeping then away from the evil of our world. These are people who are not Christians.

it's scary: I have two young ones and i'd like to have at least one more. I'm not the perfect parent, but my older son knows the Name of Jesus, prays for his food and before going to sleep, and says he loves Jesus. does he understand? maybe, maybe not, but God is with him and watching over him and us all. If it weren't for God, I shudder to think where/how we'd be.

It's interesting that just yesterday I was talking to someone about this very thing.

I personally view teaching my children about God as a sort of "inoculation" against the evil in this world...sooner or later, they (just as we all) will be touched by that evil.

We inoculate our children against all sorts of diseases, and I think the same principle is involved here.

Deut 6:4-6 says: “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

“And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. (emphasis mine).

Kinda says it all....

Just to put a plug in, re the content of what he said, I was raised without belief in God. My parents did a fine job nevertheless. We were taught that stealing is wrong, that you ought to be kind, that you ought to do charitable acts and so on.

Rom 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:

Rom 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and [their] thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
