The suspect, who was later identified as 24-year-old Derick Lee, allegedly invaded the home of Jacquie Hagler during a Premiere Jewelry party attended by between 14 and 18 people.

"The boldness of the Lord came up in me," said Hagler. "I stood up and I just pointed to the door that he'd came in from. I said, 'Get out of my house in the name of Jesus.'"

He threatened them again, and she told him to leave once more before the rest of the women in the room began to repeatedly shout the name "Jesus." Lee briefly looked around the room while they shouted, though Hagler says he did not appear to be looking directly at any of the women.

maybe the robbers thought they had named the rottweiler Jesus like the other house they were in, you know the one with the parrot.

or maybe, just maybe, they called on the One who is able to save to the uttermost?

Here is a true story and I have several that fit in this cat:

I was riding my bike out in the country side some years ago on a pretty much quiet side road when a car drove by going in the opposite

direction. The car was filled with young men (I was younger too then of course) and they leaned out the windows and yelled at me

and made comments as they went by....I'm not prone to liking that sort of thing (most women are not) and I picked up speed...I was

already going in the direction of our cottage (we were away for the week end and my husband was at the cottage working on something)

Well, the car turned around and they did a slow drive by making some suggestions that scared me...they did this a few times and I had already

started praying...I suddenly saw in front of me a couple of men on bikes and I quickly caught up to them..and asked if I could ride along...

of course they said yes...not only that, but as we conversed, found out they were also Christians!!!

The lovely car load of young men behaving badly was not seen again.

Coincidence? Strange? Or does calling on Jesus really help?
