India establish Central Monitoring System – a project that gives it access to everything its citizens do over the country’s communications services.

Now this is scarey!

For many India is chaotic, and not possible to monitor. That will change rapidly, when all Indians are electronically tagged. Even in their sleep, people will receive electronic impulses that comes as in the form of government approved visions and dreams.

Ok I posted something earlier and the post disappeared. So Im not sure if it was a software glitch or if a mod removed it but didnt tell me.

Since I do not know what happened to my post, Im gonna attempt to post it again.

That article that was posted takes a factual thing, that they will monitor email like the us does, and turns it into an opinion piece where they are making claims that do not exist. India is not going to transmit govt approved dreams and visions. They do not have the technology to do so. No one does. Yet the article is claiming as the authors opinion that it could happen. Its just more fearmongering about nothing.

This cant happen and isnt in the stated ability of the govt in india. It is merely opinion of the author based on technology that doesnt exist. It is hype and nothing more.

you make a statement of fact jade, in order to do dreams and visions they would have to actually implant something, theyre not theyre just monitoring everything sent electronically. Something that even the US is already doing-indias just now being honest about it.

You're absolutely correct on that one, A.J. That type of technology doesn't exist. If you read the article carefully you will know it's not written by a journalist (too many errors) but is probably someone's blog.

Yeah, that is a bit wild, but we have a technology for decades that allows us to listen inside a house from blocks away that as far as I know, does not require any sort of court approval. Not at all related to the post, other than the fact that it reminded be of it. Now, who knows what I am talking about?

Hint, it does not work on Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Halls.

I'm almost afraid to ask, but why not?

  • 4 weeks later...

When a sound (such as a conversation) occurs inside a building, it causes objects to vibrate in resonance with the sound. Thin panels vibrate a lot. Windows, being thin panels, vibrate well, and they are glossy. A window can be observed for vibration, by looking at the light reflected from it's glossy surface. If insufficient light exists, invisible infrared light can be supplied. Instrumentation exists which can observe a window's vibrations optically, an translate those vibrations back into sound again. Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Halls, have no windows.
