Why do we think these phrases are passages in the Bible? One reason is people haven’t read or don’t actually know what is in the Bible. Another reason is sometimes we use what we perceive as Biblical truth to reinforce own pre-existing beliefs or what has been taught to us. Yet some of these phrases do at times reflect Biblical truth or concepts. Sometimes, however the phrases are a result of folk wisdom or cultural use of the terms.

#3. Is the phrase "…all things in moderation…" in the Bible?

If so, what is the passage reference? If not, where did the phrase originate from?

Not sure, depend on how you use the term moderation, possibly Paul could have been referring to moderation:

Let all things be done decently and in an order.  I Corinthians 14:40; for in this passage he was correcting the Corinthian Church on their misuse of gifts of the Spirit.

Interesting question.

As to where the phrase ," All things in moderation" originates from ; the words (meden agan ) were inscribed on the temple of appolo at Delphi.

They mean , "Nothing in excess".

Some however, attribute the phrase to the Roman dramatist Publius Terentius Afer , written in the second century BC.

Others are still debating  :help:

Far as I know, the word moderation is only used in,

Php 4:5.

"Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand."

I believe this saying originates from Aristotle's Doctrine of the Mean
