"Not all Muslims are terrorists, but . . . almost all terrorists are Muslims" I disagree with Mr. Scott Ashley. Apparently he chose not to include in his definition of terrorists: 1) the Basque separatists 2) that strange religious sect in Japan who poisoned the underground railroad with ricin 3) the IRA 4) Patty Hearst and the SLA I don't think any of the four groups of terrorists above were/are muslim. If one were to group all the terrorists in the world together, and count them, then separate out the muslims among them, and recount, what do you think "almost all" means? a) over 90% b) over 75% c) over 50% d) any percentage In my book, almost all should mean choice A. As they grow in population, they come to believe they can impose the will of Islam on the French people, who seem rather unconcerned with the transformation. With a population of five million Muslims, France is holding a tiger by the ears. The threat of violence from radical Islamic elements cannot be far from politicians' minds. Wherever there are large numbers of Arabs, there is crime and violence, particularly against women. In fact, the only things that are growing in France right now are crime and Islamism. Some people have been amazed by the fact that teenaged girls and young women in many city districts have to wear the Islamic veil if they do not want to be harassed, but it gets worse. Not too long ago, a young Arab burnt a teenaged girl alive in the suburbs of Paris. He was convicted of murder, but he became a hero and an example for other young Arabs living in the same kind of areas. Two month ago, ten Arab men who raped another teenaged girl in another district were convicted and condemned to spend five years in jail. Yes, just five years. Their families left the court of justice shouting to the journalists it was unfair and they would look out for revenge. Eight days later, the court was burnt down during the night. The teenaged girl and her family have had to leave Paris, and hide in another part of the country. There were Muslims in France thirty years ago, but they were not like the Muslims of today. They were moderate, they did not feel they could wield decisive political power in France, they did not think they were at war against western civilization.
