The Obama administration is peeved because sources within the Pentagon are leaking details of a Syrian planned operation. As one administration official put it, “who ever heard of this much talk before an attack? It's bizarre.” What's interesting about the statement is that there was no 'denial' of an attack, but that an attack is being planned, however there are those within the Pentagon trying to sabotage an Obama Administration strike!

Some of the leaks detail the difficulty of an operation in Syria – specifically the fact that the U.S. Military has lost track of Syrian chemical weapons. The fear is by hitting targets within Syria that chemical weapons may accidentally be hit which were not intentionally targeted.

During the first Gulf war, the U.S. Military struck a bunker containing over 2,500 artillery shells filled with Sarin gas in Al Muthanna, Iraq and to this day – 20 years later – it's so contaminated that no one can go near it.

Most weapons experts believe this same chemical agent is stockpiled throughout Syria. Sarin is especially dangerous since it cannot be seen, or smelled – a biological weapon that you wouldn't know was unleashed – unless you were surrounded by dead bodies – now that's horrifying!

If such sites were hit, even by accident in Syria, then it very well may fulfill the prophecy of Isaiah 17. As the Bible declares in Isaiah 17:1, “behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.”

Meanwhile, U.N. inspectors say it may take up to two weeks to complete their findings. Does this mean President Obama will have to face Putin face to face in St. Petersburg next week? Do you think that Putin is shaking in his boots? I doubt it, as a former head of the KGB during the cold war – he's probably putting together a perfect “propaganda” campaign to release just as Obama arrives for the G-20 summit. If anyone has the ability to drudge up skeletons in someone's closet – it'd be a former head of a secret service agency! I would expect some “political” bombs to be set off by Putin as he politically maneuvers Obama into a corner. Timing is everything! Next week will certainly be interesting to say the least!

Back to the peeves of the Obama administration concerning Pentagon leaks, I suppose the saying what goes around comes around fits in this case.

For years, the Obama administration has been sabotaging any action by Israel against the Iranian nuclear program. A few of the leaks that stand out in my mind, is the releasing of agreements between Israel and the former Soviet republics of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan. Most specifically, the use of Azerbaijan air bases in the event of an Iranian strike! There's no doubt that this was a leak within the Obama administration to slow down Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu plans to destroy the Iranian nuclear program.

More recently – just a few weeks ago, a strike within Syria took place, and it wasn't until an Obama administration leak, that we find out it was the use of cruise missiles fired from an Israeli sub which struck targets within Syria. The leak had Israeli officials furious at the time as they were concerned that such disclosures could lead to Syrian counterattacks against Israel and these leaks should have at least been been coordinated with the Israeli government. At the time, the Israeli government had censored domestic press reports about the attack due to the fear of retaliation by the Syrian government. It's obvious that the Obama administration wasn't concerned about Syrian retaliation against Israel in this instance – so do you suppose the Obama administration is concerned about the consequences of a U.S. led attack in Syria – and what that may mean to the nation of Israel?

The UN inspectors left Syria last night in anticipation of a U.S. Strike, as it appears that the Obama administration may go ahead with a military operation – despite having no domestic support, no congressional support, no U.N. Support and no Western support – however he does have the support of Purple Heart prized Vietnam veteran – John Kerry!

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry called Syrian President Bashar al-Assad a, 'thug and murderer' last night and that the United States could not stand by and let a dictator get away with such serious crimes! He went on to say, “History will judge us all extraordinarily harshly if we turn a blind eye to a dictator's wanton use of weapons of mass destruction.”

If these events do trigger WW3, I wonder if Noble prize winner U.S. President Barack Hussein Obama will give his Noble peace prize back? Since it's apparent that he alone – may light the match over a region that is a sitting time bomb!

Until next time,

George
