Yesterday, a retired Israeli general was quoted saying the Obama Administration stopped Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's plans to destroy Iran's nuclear program. Perhaps, if Israel struck Iran it would have set of a Middle East war – and started WW3. However, what if Israel succeeded in destroying Iran's nuclear program? We would be sitting here a year later with the head of the Shiite fundamentalist movement cut off! Assad government may have collapsed as its barely surviving economically now — and is on life support from its Iranian friends.

However, we find ourselves a year later, Iran closer to the bomb – and the situation in Syria even more cataclysmic!

However, I believe the events unfolding now, are completely lining up with prophecy.

In presenting his case before Congress, the Obama administration is using Israel as part of his argument for why the U.S. should strike Syria! The thought of using Israel as part of the administration's reasoning has got every Israeli politician tight lipped – because they know how this can quickly wipe lash against them!

Over the weekend, they just watched how the President turned against his own Secretary of State!

Last Friday night, John Kerry presented his case before the American people – one of his most passionate speeches, and a day later Obama without consulting his Cabinet – decides the U.S. doesn't need to take action immediately, but rather we need to take his case before Congress! Politically, Kerry just had his legs cut out from underneath him!

In trying to maintain dignity, Kerry once again presented his case before a Senate committee yesterday – however Kerry stumbled and said and later retracted the idea of U.S. Troops being on the ground in Syria! I always watch what politicians say – and later retract – because what they first said is probably true, and once they realize the political ramifications of their statements – they quickly back peddle and hide from the political fallout of their words!

Meanwhile, Senator John McCain came out of his private meeting with the U.S. President Obama supportive of the President's measures knowing that the administration plans to "upgrade the capabilities" of the rebel Free Syrian Army (FSA).

While the FSA has a strong moderate Muslim contingency, the overall Syrian rebel factions are overwhelmingly jihadists! They are not interested in a “Free Syria”, but a fundamental Islamic state from which to launch attacks against the Great Satan – the United States, and the Little Satan – Israel!

The Syrians are so enraged by the jihadists, that in a poll conducted by NATO this past June showed over 70% of Syrians want Assad in power! Source: World Tribune ( http://www.worldtribune.com/2013/05/31/nato-data-assad-winning-the-war-for-syrians-hearts-and-minds/ )

Do the Syrians really want Assad in power? No, but compared to the reality of fundamental Islamists running the country – they'd rather have Assad!

One of the fundamental groups operating in the region is The Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). ISIL is a merged al-Qaeda group that operates in Syria and Iraq so radical that it believes the Muslim Brotherhood is apostate!

ISIL spokesman, Abu Muhammad al 'Adnani al Shami, denounced the Muslim brotherhood over the weekend and called on the Islamic group to repent and “turn back from the religion of democracy.” In a speech released this weekend, Al Shami denounced the armies of Egypt, Libya, and Tunisia as "armies of apostasy and disbelief." "These armies were only created to protect the tyrants, defend them and steady their thrones," al Shami continued. The ISIL spokesman specifically denounced the Egyptian army for defending "the usury banks and the whorehouses" as well as "the Jews, the Copts and the Christians," among other offenses.

Al Shami also asked whether "any sane person [can] say that it is not permissible to fight this army, even if it were seen as Muslim?"

With regard to the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, al Shami said the group was simply "a secular party with an Islamic garb, and they are more evil and cunning than the secularists." Al Shami further slammed the Muslim Brotherhood for being "a party that, if gaining the throne required kneeling before Satan, they would do it without hesitation."

Yesterday, the ISIL beheaded 24 Syrian passengers on a bus traveling from Tartus to Ras al-Ain in northwest Syria among them a mother and her 40 day old infant. These are not just Islamics – these are the radical of radicals that put to shame even radical Islamic groups like the Muslim brotherhood!

If you have the stomach to watch, you might want to see a LiveLeak video published on August 24th – ISIL Death Cult Kills Three Syrian Truck Drivers in Iraq after failing the "Are You Sunni?" Test. Source: LiveLeak ( http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=744_1377386471 )

As thousands of al-Qaeda fighters stand ready and willing to invade Syria as soon as the U.S. Strikes, (Source: http://kleinonline.wnd.com/2013/08/30/al-qaida-ready-to-storm-into-syria-if-u-s-strikes-thousands-of-islamic-fighters-mobilizing-on-border/ ) we very well may see the rise of an ultra Islamic state on the border of Israel – all with the help of Uncle Sam's cruise missiles and its Air Force!

It's no wonder, that the British Intelligence community assessed the situation in Syria and deemed that al Qaeda and other jihadists in Syria have become “the most worrying emerging terrorist threat to the UK and the West.” (Source: CNS News – http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/terence-p-jeffrey/uk-intel-al-qaeda-and-jihadists-syria-most-worrying-emerging ) They didn't think Assad was the biggest threat to the West – it was the jihadists in Syria!

So why do I think this may line up with prophecy? Well, President Obama is using Israel as part of its reasoning to deal with Assad – with pro-Israel lobbying groups are supporting the President plan of striking Syria. So what happens when this operation goes terribly wrong? Who do you suppose will be blamed? The President will say, “Well, we had to support our ally “Israel” and look what what's happened!”

Honestly, when was the last time you heard the President accept responsibility for a bad decision? Someone has to take the blame! And before you know it, the Jews will be responsible!

But this is prophetic – the rise of antisemitism is coming! You see the Bible says in Jeremiah 16:14-16, "Therefore, behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when it shall no longer be said, 'As the LORD lives who brought up the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt,' but 'As the LORD lives who brought up the people of Israel out of the north country and out of all the countries where he had driven them.' For I will bring them back to their own land that I gave to their fathers. "Behold, I am sending for many fishers, declares the LORD, and they shall catch them. And afterward I will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain and every hill, and out of the clefts of the rocks."

The times of the fisherman are ending – and soon the hunters will drive the Jewish people back to their homeland! You think you're seeing the rise of antisemitism now throughout Europe and the rest of the world – just wait till the Jews are blamed for the fiasco in Syria!

Until next time,

George
