Other people try to use the opposite strategy. Dr. Francis Collins, for instance, ended up telling Richard Dawkins in a personal discussion: I find absolutely nothing in conflict between agreeing with Richard in practically all of his conclusions about the natural world, [and finding answers in the spiritual realm]http://content.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1555132-9,00.html Dawkins having a rant against faith and answered by a short answer like "everything you said concerning nature is compatible with faith". I personally don't believe Collins. BTW, this discussion, besides the fact that Collins was calm and Dawkins was not, had some points that Collins didn't tackle, at all. So I would rather discourage people from reading that source, I just added it for the sake of completeness. Enjoy your day, Thomas T

Guest
Very clever! lol~! All nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity. Isaiah 40:17 And In No Way Does It To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him? The workman melteth a graven image, and the goldsmith spreadeth it over with gold, and casteth silver chains. He that is so impoverished that he hath no oblation chooseth a tree that will not rot; he seeketh unto him a cunning workman to prepare a graven image, that shall not be moved. Isaiah 40:18-20 Conflict With Medical Science Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth? Isaiah 40:21 Or With Any Other Rigorous Empirical Science It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in: Isaiah 40:22 But The Truth Is Like A Buzzing Within The Theater Of The Mind That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity. Isaiah 40:23 Within That Cartoon Fantasy Misnamed Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. Colossians 2:8 Rational Science Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. Psalms 119:160 ~ Pure Gold So Pure Even A Chemist Can Apply It The Bible contains the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners, and the happiness of believers. Its doctrines are holy, its precepts are binding, its histories are true, and its decisions immutable. Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe, and practice it to be holy. It contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you. It is the traveler's map, the pilgrim's staff, the pilot's compass, the soldier's sword, and the Christian's charter. Here Paradise is restored, Heaven opened, and the gates of hell disclosed. Christ is its grand subject, our good its design, and the glory of God its end. It should fill the memory, rule the heart and guide the feet. Read it slowly, frequently and prayerfully. It is a mine of wealth, a Paradise of glory, and a river of pleasure. It is given to you in life, will be open in the judgment, and be remembered forever. It involves the highest responsibility, rewards the greatest labor, and condemns all who trifle with its holy precepts. Guest
A minority of that population takes its religion very seriously. These RC heli behaviors and attitudes are largely influenced by what is perceived to conform to their faiths' dogmas. lol, Radio Control Helicopters Have Flight Characteristics Influenced By Faith And Dogma? Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. 1 John 2:15-17 Oh Oh I See What You Mean....
