Botz Posted October 9, 2013 Group: Royal Member Followers: 1 Topic Count: 76 Topics Per Day: 0.01 Content Count: 4,492 Content Per Day: 0.61 Reputation: 191 Days Won: 18 Joined: 03/29/2004 Status: Offline Share Posted October 9, 2013 My personal feeling is that these talks will stutter to a stand-still eventually, and that ostensibly the reason given will be on-going conflict (expect the Pals to increase the skirmishes)...but I can't really believe the Pals will agree to ending their demand for 5 million plus refugees to return, and even Hilik Bar and the Labour left have said not one single refugee will set foot on the land....Abbas will be under intense pressure from the Arab League, but also internally from some of the real Arafat hard-liners, and we have seen this sort of scenario many times before...the end result is unlikely to be peace.
