We've spent a lot of time in the Yellowstone area over the past six or seven years......   it's to beautiful there.   The last two years the giser basins were hearing up and last year some of the areas we had visited the year before was closed.   Rangers told me that the ground was heating up and they could not be sure that the ground was stable enough to support the weight of a human as the sub surface changes a lot when it gets hot like that..

the whole area including the Tetons Mountains is just awesome to visit.

could be tomorrow or a thousand or even ten thousand years from now....

Question:    If you were almost sure it would do a major eruption next Tuesday.......    would you tell anyone about it?

I would. I don't think I could sit by and remain silent. Even if no one listened, I would at least try.

do you have any idea what would happen if you told the people of the US that in 4 days about half the population is going to die and half of the rest will die within six months and most likely half the population of the planet will starve to death within two or three years...

i'd tell them about Jesus.....  but would they listen even then?

Probably not, but then we are to spread the gospel, and let the Lord work the change in their hearts. If death is imminent, should we sit back and say nothing?

It would be impossible to tell everyone.  How could you get your message out there, tv outlets are the best way, but try convincing them to give you air time for a prediction.

Even then, including most christians, hardly no one would believe you.  Not because they are "bad" people, but because SO many predictions have come and gone that I think most are almost cynical when it comes to this.  I know I am.

I'm also honest enough to say that 4 days wouldn't be enough time for me to be in prayer asking God if the person predicting is really sharing what God wants us to know.  I would want some sort of confirmation from Him.

That being said, if it was me, and I was sure God wanted me to share, I would stand on my roof and yell it to all who would listen if I had to.  The least I could do is be obedient. :biggrin2:

Yes,their would be a panic. That is probably why we are not told by our Government until the last minute of a catastrophe. And no Jesus told us that many will not believe Him even if they would see Him.
