However this was 5 years ago to the last of my knowledge. I have mixed feelings about that as well. Sure I know it would be great for minimum wage to be raised so that those working the lower income jobs could receive more money, however like shiloh357 stated, that extra money will have to come from somewhere. If it is a superstore like Walmart making the raises, they will in turn raise the prices of their products which will in turn affect every single customer who shops there for their goods. It's kind of a tricky situation, and inflation will play a part in it too. I can't say what's the right or wrong way or which will be better for our country, but I know each year, the cost of living is going to go up as long as we live.
