Batman has more of a tactical and cunning mind.

Batman just got himself caught all the time too much so for me he'd eventually figure it out though and get free.

What about the first superhero: The Shadow. The shadow was not a character on the screen, but only on the radio. You could hear the dire music and his footsteps coming up behind the bad guy and, the errie voices. The shadow had a way of getting to the bad guy by getting to his conscience; he would make the bad guy have heart failure or something like that. There was no real action just dire music, footsteps, the voices.

Yes I remember listening to some of those old Shadow radio shows.

you can still find those on youtube...

We came home every day and listened to the green hornet or something like that and of course "The Lone Ranger"....

My older brother used to tell me that they would listen to red rider or the shadow on the radio.

My favorite Superhero was Huckleberry Hound,  :24: or maybe it was Foghorn Leghorn. :24:

Overall I think that Clark Kent/Superman was smarter.

I don't like what they have done with superman.    Christopher Reeves, before he died, pleaded with the movie producers not to make Superman dark.   He said that Superman is a hero of the light.

There is a tendency to make the superheroes as psychotic as the people they are trying stop.  Some heroes are darker, but Superman is not one of them.   Superman Returns was a cheap remake of Superman the movies and in this one, it's Lois Lane's new husband who ends up being the hero.

That is weird.
