So far, Nye is doing a much better job.

Nye has spoken yet.

I am listening to him right now, what are you talking about?

I guess my streaming is running behind.  Right now, Ham is doing his 30 minute remarks.

Nye was doing well, but think he went off the mark a bit when he tried to attack Bible translations.   He should have stuck to science and not tried to go after the Bible.

I gotta give Nye props one thing he said:   "Light year is a measure of distance, not a measure of time."   I said that and was challenged by several people on here about that.

But He did pretty much insult the state of Kentucky, by suggesting that they don't have the right educuational facilities to have scientifically literate people.

I don't think anybody questioned lightyears being a unit of distance here, unless I profoundly misunderstood the discussion. As I understood it the issue was using the ly to do time estimates via the speed of light.

Over all Nye won the night, that is without question.  During the short answer Q&A Ham did better, but not enough to come back from the rest of the debate.  Nye relied a bit too much on "well I don't know" too much during the Q&A section.

I believe science is often wrong, and we need to keep an open mind. Gods creation doesn't depend on who wins this debate. Bill nye believes people need to believe in every evolutionist science in order for inventions. But what about Einstein? Believing in an intelligent Creator didn't stop Einstein.
