Guest DRS81
Hades is the waitingroom for hell. They are different yet the same because it is a place for the unbelievers. When people are called up from hades to stand before their judgment then that is when they are thrown into the lake of fire or hell. The confusion lies within the word hell. The word hell is just a metaphor to describe the bad places after death. Like for example, you described Hades and the Lake of fire in this sentence as hell, thus the metaphor. To simplify things, you could also describe hell as separation from God. Separation from God describes Sheol/Hades/Gehenna/Lake of Fire/Hell. Blessings, DRS81
