Because I was thinking on this after reading my oswald chambers devotion of the day. It sounds like Christians can get consumed by their daily life so maybe surrendering all to God is not a one time thing. But something we need to be practicing? These are Christ's own words concerning your question: 23 Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.24 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it. - Luke 9:23-24 If we heed His words, yes, this is something that we do each day.
