Maybe know one sees this but me. I got this new job that works with the public. I seen and heard the way people talk. I can't beleve the disrespect people and strangers show. Know one ever says sorry after yelling or gossiping. They think they are not doing anything wrong. What happened to I'm sorry I hurt your feelings, Or Thank you and please. Maybe I'm old but when I was younger in the 70s lol. I know what would happened if I didn't remember my please and thank you. One time my brother told some one shut up. oooooooooooooo he got it from dad. Would people say this to God when face to face.

I don't think people would say these things to God when face to face. The say them now, because they are not living out a Godly faith, beleiving that God is literally present. Instead they live in an illusion that they have created in their mind, that God is not present, if He even exists at all.

When they are some day, confronted with Gods actual presence, I suspect some will employ a weeping and apologetic plea for mercy, or perhaps be speechless, and some, might simply exclaim "my Lord and my God" as they thankfully submit to His will.

As far as I am concerned, Tigger, it is not just you.  I have noticed for some time that there appears to be less effort to be kind these days, and that also includes Christians, sadly to say.  I have devoted a lot of prayer to this and I feel that God is telling me to show more love, even to those who are not too lovable, and if necessary, I will go out of my way to treat others with respect.

So many Christians have a bad reputation because of those who cannot treat others with love and respect.  This angers me, it is frustrating, and it hurts, but I am praying every day concerning the attitudes some Christians have, and the way they are inconsiderate to others.  In my opinion, there is no worse witness than a Christian who cannot seem to show kindness and respect.  I have started to apologize to those who have been hurt by Christians, insulted, judged, and rejected by them.

I will join you in praying about this.  Maybe we are suppose to not only let our light shine, but put those lights on high beam?  Something surely needs done, because I have personally witnessed people being turned away by the harsh treatment they have received by those who claim to love the Lord, but appear to have trouble loving one another.

Thanks for bringing this up.  I hope it causes some to think and will open up dialogue on how we can be better witnesses for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Shalom, PrairWarur

Well, I hope it strengthens your faith in God's Word. For if God's Word is true, then men are rightly described in Romans 1-2, quite a low description there.

We have had threads on here about telling people that you are sorry.I don't see very much of those three words. If you are doing something well you do not hear about it but if you are doing something that a person does not like you sure will hear about it.
