We as Christians all know Gods ways are higher than ours and his knowledge

is also far above ours.

For him to put believers above angels I am thinking we are going to need a lot more knowledge than any human can learn on earth.

And each is at a different level in Christ upon entry.

By level it could be a number of things that determine

that. ( ex. crowns given some may only get one others more.)

Also this verse seems to play a part in some level.

1st Corin 3:15

If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

My question is

Do you think God will impart a vast amount of knowledge to

believers in just a few minutes or would you think a more lengthy training

would be in order?

God usually does things slow and steady he is not the quick and easy type.

fire heart I agree I think there will be quiet a bit believers will need to know before any authority is given.

1 Corinthians 13:11-2 tell us how Paul saw this.

When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

I believe when we are in His true presence, our understanding will be given to us in that moment.  Remember, our minds will not be the same when we are in our new bodies.

OneLight, Good verse I had not thought of it.

Matt 16:27

For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

Gives me the idea that some may not be ready to do same assignments.

I don't think God would give most of us a lot of knowledge at once because we would overlook most of it, but He gives us it slowly so we can absorb it and use it.

The Holy Spirit was given to be our instructor into all truth, but he doesn't impart all knowledge to us at once,  We stay in the Word, and when we have a question, we can ask him for help understanding things.  In this life, I believe that is the way it works.  In the next life, I imagine we will see how many things we had wrong, when all the truth is revealed.

This verse comes to mind:

For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known.  I Cor 13:12

God communicates Himself to us through His Son whom He sent and through His word. the Bible with the Holy Spirit

It's not just knowledge, but this knowing ... knowing Him.  and even now, to KNOW Him.  Jesus says to some people who thought they were 'all that'

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

So, knowledge is a part of it of course (even what we consider knowledge will pass away if you read I Cor. 1 but not everything

I don't know about 'training'...I think it may just be an awareness, complete with understanding, that our present circumstances do not make room for

While I was pondering on this subject it came to mine that these angels we will judge/oversee have been in the presents of Jesus/God for thousands, if not more, years. Then can this massive amount of

knowledge be put into believers instantly. I realize there may not be an answer for this as we all see dimly now. I agree once a believer enters Heaven instantly they will be aware of a large amount of knowledge they did not have. Im still pondering if that first influx of new knowledge will also include enough to oversee angels.

You make me chuckle on this one. giggle_20.png   Maybe we will get those big heads like little green men so we can store everything.

Guess what.......it's worse then you think:

but just as it is written, "THINGS WHICH EYE HAS NOT SEEN AND EAR HAS NOT HEARD, AND which HAVE NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN, ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM."  I Cor 2:9
