Also the Church should walk in the gifts of the Holy Spirit so there will be people to lay hands on the newly baptized person, so he or she can receive the Holy Spirit. Paul tells us that one can only come to know God if he or she are taught by God. Prov. 4:23 Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life. it was the scripture that came to mind while reading your post... how well do we know scripture. It isn't really a reference to any number but a reference to the topic as a whole. if this verse tells us to guard our heart then we should be careful with sayings and what we put in our hearts. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. That's the last part of Luke 6:45. I have enjoyed this thread. Thanks to everyone for the info.
