This year, I'm focusing on a deeper walk with God. I also want to be a better mother and wife. Loosing weight would be good. I also want to deepen the friendships I have in the 'real' world and share my love of the Lord with the unsaved in my life. Are your NY resolutions the same as last year? Some of mine are. Guest His_Servant Posted January 2, 2005 Share Posted January 2, 2005 Goodness...what do I want to change about my life? I want to be closer to God. I want the desire I once had back, but even stronger. I want to get up off of the ground, but first, I want to know why I stay there so often...whats going on in me. I want to have more confidence in myself...a better self esteem. I want to choose my love for God over fear. I want to be able to speak, and not be afraid. There is so much I want to see changed in my life, but I also want to say...God has been so good to me in the 23 years I have been alive. Even if I never know whats going on in me and feel better, God will still be worthy of all my praise. Right now I just don't understand what I am to do, but I know he is ever working on us...and all will be fine, sooner or later. I just have to make the choice to praise him even in the face of my hurts and confusion. I know that will most likely be the beginning of him workin it all out of me.
