John 14:20

so Jesus is in the father and the father in him so they are the same....       Jesus is in me and I in him so does that make me Jesus?

Don't you see that if Jesus is the Father and I am Jesus you just made me God?

Your thinking is off here......   or are you saying that Satan was right all along???       God forbid...

John 17:21-23

22 "And the glory which Thou hast given Me I have given to them; that they may be one, just as We are one; 23 I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be perfected in unity,

NASB

This is what John 14:20 is about......     being perfect in unity, not the same entity.

I am supposed to live a life here on earth that when you see me, you see Jesus.  That's what oneness is about.  You always do what Jesus would do.

other one, do you not believe the Holy Ghost can be in you?

When you are filled with the Holy Ghost, does that mean you are then God?

Of course you are not God.

Where / when did satan say anyone was God?

I have never seen any such thing.

countingsheep, you're talking about things to come when you talk about the mystery of church.

To understand Church, look at how it behaves, its fruit. What does Church do? We talk about what is just creation or what is just for us to do and we try to spread what is just. We are trying to learn about Father, and he is having his Son teach us what is just to reproduce - that is what words do - reproduce ideas - or mind.

About the Trinity: maybe it will help to understand God has translated us (his idea / awareness of us / our soul) into his Son, and we are a living soul now - a flesh and blood / bodily soul (a mortal soul - a soul that sins dies). The breath of God, however, is the Holy Spirit. It gives us will and life where a soul is awareness, but a dead body for us means we sleep. The light we see, our body, and the light of our mental images, is Jesus, and is Father's Word.

And none of it can we claim is ours - every part of us belongs to God. We are not God as other one is trying to suggest.

I get it but the image of God is Jesus while the likeness of God is soul, spirit, and body.

If you are saying "get it" about church, then yeah I know what is being said.

And yeah, God does express his ideas is multiple ways but symbolism? Idk. Instead of multiple ways, though, I think of it as being more complete. Such as, the more you can say about yourself the more completely you know yourself. Am I a brother, a child of God, bride of Jesus, etc. but then when you understand church you will see all those things are church.
