Dera GE,

The point of the thread is to bring this issue to light...and to talk about it...but, it doesn't seem like anyone practices this, or very few, I should say.

I am troubled by it.

In His Love,

Suzanne

I am reminded of the issue with the woman caught in adultery... Jn 8
The whole scenario is brought to a focal need of being holy
"go and sin no more"! The specific desire of God is for us to be
holy as He 'IS' Holy 1Pet 1:16 We all have seen the awful effects of
sin in our lives and the lives of others...
Yet even the consideration of little and big, when sin is the topic, is
false doctrine Jam 2:10 ... and now we return to "let him who without sin
cast the first stone" Our hearts should be about restoration in ourselves
and others toward holiness by the prescribed way Scripture dictates to
us in doing so. I have always been concerned by both sides of the ditch
on this issue especially in light of these verses!
 1 John 1:7-10
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light,
we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of
Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If
we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and
the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he
is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to
cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that
we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word
is not in us.KJV
Love, Steven

Thank you enoob57,

That was a wonderful contribution to this topic.  There are always both sides to keep in balance. The foundation of love and God's Truth should always be at the heart of the matter.

In His Love,

Suzanne
