Matthew 10 24 Nevertheless I say to you that it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for you.” Matthew 18 6 but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea. I can see something in this. This suggests that a person's works will decide how severe their punishment is. Hi Oakwood. 1. At the second coming;This wicked system will be destroyed,only the true belivers resurrected in spirit form. The rest of the survivors and the dead in their graves will be left as is. 2. The jews from the past and present and some living will be brought back to their own land,in the flesh. which will be paradise(jerusalem).Only the remnant of the jews chosen by God. The saints will rule over them,as kings and priests. And Jesus as king of kings. This would be the kingdom of the saints,for one thousand years.The lion will eat straw. 3. The gentiles left,will multiply outside the square(kingdom),and so will the jews inside the square(paradise). 4.The jews taught christ by the saints,will also teach the gentiles out side. many gentiles will accept Christ,But many also will not. 5.When the thousand years are past, satan will be let loose to draw the non believers of the gentiles outside, to one place to attack the square(kingdom). They all will be destroyed by God himself this time. This is the war of gog and magog. Now all the wicked are dead;satan and his angels cast into the fire. 6.There are still many dead gentiles in the graves of all generations,and all religions. They will be brought back to life; judged by their deeds(hearts). The sheep placed on the right(the good hearted),and the goats on the left(the mean hearted). The goats, cast in the fire;the sheep accepted,and changed into spirit form,and will join all the saints. 7. Now all the wicked are no more, all the saints will be God's children. 8. But the earth is still poluted on the suface, and under the earth. The earth will be melted, and a new earth created. All the saints will be in heaven untill its done. 9. Then all will come down to the new earth,and God will also dwell on earth,all can see Him face to face. God's will is done in earth. jesse. Where in the bible say that the wicked will accept Christ in the 1000 year and get salvation ? Are you saying there will be baptism in the 1000 years ? thanks I am sure that there will be the same ritual of baptism of water. It's not written in scripture. jesse. At the end of the 1000 years God will judge each one according to how they served Jesus and those who deny Him will be sent to eternal damnation and those who have been faithful will be rewarded accordingly. Why judge people according to their works when only believers are saved? Why judge any non-believer when the verdict (damnation) has already been passed? Why judge any believer when we are cleansed of all our sins by the blood of Christ? So why are people being judged according to their works? This sounds to me as if non-believers are being given a chance at salvation, but that clearly conflicts with the rest of scripture that says that only those who believe in Christ are saved. What I laid out there is what you're talking about. Sorry it seemed too technical. Without Christ the soul is left with being judged by their works, no remission of sins. That affects their placement in the 1,000 years, but it does not mean the verdict is passed yet, the jury is still out for those during the 1,000 years. The verdict isn't passed until the Great White Throne Judgment after the 1,000, and that's the point. The reason for Christ's thousand years reign is like Apostle Paul showed in 1 Cor.15, that Christ MUST reign over all His enemies until they are made His footstool. It's to show them Who The GOD really is, because during this present world the majority of them were deceived, or blinded by God Himself (Rom.11). In other words, it shows that not all peoples have the same time to 'know' Christ The Saviour. During the 1,000 years none will have an excuse, so IF they decide to let Satan deceive them again at the end of 1,000 years when he is released, it will mean they made their choice to perish with him with their blinders fully removed, meaning full accountability. With the deceived in the Church, the five foolish virgins He closes the door upon, what about them? I believe Jesus will save those of them that realize what they had done in falling away from Him to worship another in His place, because they were deceived. Lot of brethren are going to fall away especially in these last days, and worship the coming Antichrist thinking he is our Lord Jesus having come. They just won't know the difference, because their Church leaders haven't prepared them, and they relied on their Church leadership instead of directly on Christ in His Word to know (i.e., lacking the spare vessel of the Oil), so they are like blind sheep. Most of those I would say are ordained to that deception, God has blinded them, along with unbelieving Israel. Rev.21-22 does not give a clear separation of times, simply because the Rev.22:14-15 Scripture DOES show the wicked outside the gates of the holy city in that time... Rev.22 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. What you seem to not understand is that above Scripture is Millennium timing, it goes with the events of Rev.20 during Christ's 1,000 years reign. Those are the "nations" in that chapter outside the "camp of the saints". That city is... the "camp of the saints", the Ezekiel 40 forward layout with a Millennium sanctuary, God's River, and the tree of life, on earth. That's the Scripture, take it or leave it, but don't tell me I don't know what I'm talking about just because the actual Scripture goes against some doctrine of men you've heeded instead. When you folks learn to open up the Old Testament Books in study as much as you rely on the New Testament Books, and learn, instead of listening to the many preachers out there that haven't done that OT study either, then I might be willing to help with these kind of matters.
