There are no lost ten tribes. There has never been any lost tribes. Before the captivity, during the captivity, on the return from the captivity, at the close of the OT, and the start of the NT, there are references to "all Israel".

Before the Babylonian captivity, the faithful of the northern kingdom (Israel) moved to the southern kingdom (Judah):

[2Ch 11:14-17 KJV] For the Levites left their suburbs and their possession, and came to Judah and Jerusalem: for Jeroboam and his sons had cast them off from executing the priest's office unto the LORD: And he ordained him priests for the high places, and for the devils, and for the calves which he had made. And after them out of all the tribes of Israel such as set their hearts to seek the LORD God of Israel came to Jerusalem, to sacrifice unto the LORD God of their fathers. So they strengthened the kingdom of Judah, and made Rehoboam the son of Solomon strong, three years: for three years they walked in the way of David and Solomon.

The Lord addresses all Israel, in Judah and Benjamin (southern kingdom tribes):
[2Ch 11:3 KJV] Speak unto Rehoboam the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and to all Israel in Judah and Benjamin, saying,

The northern kingdom was conquered by the Assyrians, and they scattered them to other lands as was their custom, but some were left and co-mingled with people of other scattered nations to become the Samaritans.

More nk tribes in the sk:
[2Ch 15:8,19 KJV] And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of the LORD, that [was] before the porch of the LORD. And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and the strangers with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that the LORD his God [was] with him.

Hezekiah invites all Israel and Judah to come to Passover in Jerusalem:

[2Ch 30:1,5 KJV] And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel.... So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel at Jerusalem: for they had not done [it] of a long [time in such sort] as it was written.

Isaiah, writing to the captivity, addresses them throughout as "house of Jacob, house of Israel". Some are prophetic, but many are not. Example:
[isa 46:3 KJV] Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, which are borne [by me] from the belly, which are carried from the womb:

Jeremiah, writes to all Israel among those left behind in Jerusalem during the captivity, :
[Jer 2:4 KJV] Hear ye the word of the LORD, O house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel:

Ezra and Nehemiah use "Israel" to describe those that returned to the Jerusalem:
[Neh 12:47 KJV] And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the porters, every day his portion: and they sanctified [holy things] unto the Levites; and the Levites sanctified [them] unto the children of Aaron.

and later:
[Mal 1:1 KJV] The burden of the word of the LORD to Israel by Malachi.

Still later, as Jesus sends the 12 out to preach:
[Mat 10:6 KJV] But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
and again, to the Canaanite woman:
[Mat 15:24 KJV] But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Matthew claims that Isaiah 9:1,2 is fulfilled as Jesus preaches to the people of Zebulon and Nephtali (two northern kingdom tribes):
[Mat 4:14-16 KJV] That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, [by] the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles; The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.

Luke writes of a woman of Asher (another nk tribe):
[Luk 2:36 NKJV] Now there was one, Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher....

Compare how Peter addresses his audience in Acts 2:
[v14 KJV] ...Ye men of Judaea, and all [ye] that dwell at Jerusalem...
[v22 KJV] Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God...
[v36 KJV] Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly...

The first part of the Daniel 12:1 is about the great tribulation time Jesus forewarned of in Matt.24...

Dan.12

1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Matt.24

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Daniel is being told that Michael will stand up for the children of his people. Who is Daniel's people?

Daniel's people are the old covenant Jews of his old covenant time, that he is personally associated with as a prophet.

It makes no sense what so ever for Daniel to be told about Michael standing up for his people, if the term "his people" are unknown to Daniel. The future generations cannot be Daniel's people. If this is not the obvious, then read who are those who go through the Great Tribulation:

Future generations most definitely ARE... Daniel's people. ALL of God's people are Daniel's people. Time does no disconnect with that. That's some wild thinking that there could ever be that kind of disconnect between generations of God's people.

Furthermore, God scattered the majority of both the house of Judah (Jews), and the house of Israel (ten tribes), among the Gentiles like He warned through Moses if they fell away from Him (Deut.4; 28). Many of those were scattered to the Christian west and helped become the western Christian nations of history, i.e, Christ's Church. The remnant according to the election of grace that Paul mentioned in Rom.11:1-5 is specifically about that foundation of Christ's Church after the passion of Christ.

So who are Daniel's people? Just Jews of the house of Judah only, of flesh seed only? NO, God forbid; but ALL... those of Faith on Jesus Christ all the way back to Abraham when God first gave His Salvation Promise by Faith. This is why Jesus gave His Revelation, which includes the prophecies in the Book of Daniel, through Apostle John to... His Church of both believing Israelite, and believing Gentile, as one Body in Christ Jesus.

This is MYTH - don't believe one world of it. To even imagine that a tiny portion of a local population  - such as the dispersed Jews who fled to Europe - could later me the majority of the population is preposterous. The ONLY what this could happen over several generations would be that the Gentiles where the Jews went quit having children, while the Jews had large families, like 10 or 20 kids per couple. History shows no such thing. So the truth is, Jews and HEbrews of today make up a tiny MINORITY of the population. And most Christians in the USA are GENTILES grafted in to the Jewish tree.

Make no mistake: Daniel's people are JEWS and HEBREWS. Most Jews of today KNOW they are Jews.

That only shows how lacking you are in Old Testament Book study with prophecies involving the seed of Israel.

The ten northern tribes of Israel were removed by God out of the land first, never to return, and made up the majority of the seed of Israel. They were never Jews. The ten tribes became lost to the world, and even to the Jews, but in the 1st century some knew where they were, like the Jewish historian Josephus who said they were still scattered abroad, and made up a great number of people, too many to be numbered.

The Jews made up only 3 tribes (Judah, Benjamin, and Levi). So look at the number of Jews in the world today and then add ten more tribes to that, but that still won't be close, because God promised Abraham his seed would become as many as the stars of the sky and sands of the sea, and also to Jacob "a company of nations", and to Ephraim "a multitude of nations".

Back to Ephraim again. Somehow I knew he would come up. Did you ever stop to think WE are SPIRITUAL children of Abraham through faith. We don't need to have his blood or be in his bloodline to be his children. So indeed Abraham's children ARE as the sands of the sea.

Gen. 48:19 HCSB

...his offspring will become a populous nation.

Darby

his seed will become the fulness of nations.

Young's literal

his seed is the fulness of the nations;

Gill's Commentary

and his seed shall become a multitude of nations; that is, of families, for as nations are called families, Amos 3:1; so families may be called nations;

Matthew Poole's Commentary

A multitude of nations, i.e. equal to many nations in number and strength; or, from them shall proceed many nations, i.e. many numerous; potent, and flourishing families, whereof each is equivalent to an ordinary nation. For as

nations are sometimes called families, as Zechariah 14:18, so the tribes and families of Israel are called nations or people, as Ezekiel 2:3 Acts 4:27.

BI commentary

From such a source we are warranted in expecting large blessings, even that Ephraim's seed should become "a multitude of nations," or, as the word means, "the fulness of nations."

Haydock Commentary

A people, (in populos). He shall be father of many peoples. The tribe of Manasses was divided, and had a large territory on either side of the Jordan, immediately north of that which fell to the lots of Ephraim and of Gad. (Haydock) --- Grow. Hebrew, "shall be the fulness of nations;" or shall possess every thing that can make a nation great and enviable.

K & D Commentary

his seed will become the fulness of nations." This blessing began to be fulfilled from the time of the Judges, when the tribe of Ephraim so increased in extent and power, that it took the lead of the northern tribes and became the head of the ten tribes, and its name acquired equal importance with the name Israel,

It seems many of the commentaries disagrees with your understanding on these verses. In other words, it is VERY FARFETCHED to say that Ephraim became the US or English or even to say that many Christians in the US are descended from the ten lost tribes. This is MYTH or fairy tale stuff.
