I do see some conscientious people use material bags, but most of like the plastic bags (free) to use for our rubbish later. Since we are told that we here in Oz are 5 years behind you in USA was that $300 groceries for a month other one? or a week? WOW We probably only spend a $100 or less a week. Are food prices that dear over your way? Marilyn. Hubby has just reminded me that we have `plastic free` towns here in Australia. Sorry ladyp. I wonder if paying 5 cents is more expensive or cheaper then buying trash bags? adding: those fancy Glad trash bags with odor shield and flex strength are 17 cents (U.S) a piece. When she has a bunch, she cuts them into strips, and crochtes them into sturdier plastic bags that we use for shopping, swimming, and anything else you might need a bag for.
