Turned out the picture was staged, as the link below reveals. It was completely faked. http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/9805_Lights_Camera_Action! It's like how they often show "wounded" or "dead" palestinians being carried to ambulances, then driven a few blocks away where the "victims" get out and walk off. I saw one where this crowd was carrying a guy who was being hailed as martyr killed by Israeli soldiers, above their heads in a funeral procession and he fell off the board they were carrying him on and he got up and hopped back on the board.
