In this clip, from ABC's What Would You Do, a family is praying before their meal in a restaurant when an Atheist speaks up and complains....

When I go out to lunch with friends, we say grace before our meal.  No one has ever said anything or even looked at us funny.  But, if they did, I would have to tell them that my God takes precedence over them and they shouldn't be eavesdropping on our table anyway.  I would never apologize for my faith nor would anyone else I have these luncheons with.

Would anyone share the gospel with them?

I would have no problem at all.  I always say Grace when eating out, even if I am by myself.  No one really ever commented, but if they did, they could just keep walking.

As far as sharing the Gospel with them, Proof, you could say something but 10 to 1, they would just keep on walking.

That's entirely possible, Laura. But, how would you know unless you tried? Would God rather you walk on by or would He want you to share His story?

I'm not sure if I would, Proof.  I hadn't thought about it since no one has ever challenged either myself or my friends..  It bears thinking about.

I would pray. They can complain all they want. Then I would pray again for Satan to get behind me.I would then send up a prayer for that person's heart to be opened to Jesus.I guess I would have a lot of prayer on my agenda. If my food gets cold that is ok.

Luke 9:26 26 For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father’s, and of the holy angels.

This is an interesting situation to me, having been there. I interrupted the prayer. I invited the person and their party to dinner. We shared a meal and stories. They may not have " heard " the Gospel, but I am certain that they saw evidence of Christ's love in my family, in whom I am thankful for each and every day. God touches us all in His way, and uses us sometimes to touch others.

I think there will come a time such as in the tribulation where a person will be hauled off for praying in public.
