Can a married man Lust after his own wife?

That ( to me ) is the crux. To use the word " lust " in the context of desire, is expected. To use " lust " in the context of idolatry ( which would place someone / something above God ), is another matter. Does that make sense ?

Perhaps Xyluz could clarify specifically how he was using the word "lust" in the OP.  Was the word used to lust after his wife in a sexual way or desire or in some other type of way.  This would help any confusion or misunderstanding on any one's part if Xyluz would clarify his use of the word "lust" for us.

and after 45 years of marriage, we are a lot more one'er as time has progressed.....    We became one in flesh as we married and have become more one soul wise as time has progressed.

my thought before i saw that reference, the reference made me wonder if there is a kind of 'lust' that is considered worldly like Paul mentioned in that reference.
