sounds interestingly yummy.

Can one make butterscotch chips or cinnamon chips?

Like by warming in a pot sugar , adding a bit of butter,  cinnamon then when at a butterscotch consistency lay on a parchment paper,  covered cookie sheet and lay the butterscotch or cinnamon on sheet to cool, then break in peaces to add?

or take butterscotch candy like werthers, break it down in food processor and use that as butterscotch chips?

or do you have a recipe for butterscotch chips?
