"The Assyrian" is one of Satan's many names. After Babel was destroyed, the people spread out to Ninevah (Assyria) and Satan used his power by introducing many false gods. This place has significance because false religion and beliefs were born here and from there spread throughout the earth.  The Assyrian's land is this world, God calls it Babylon (City of Confusion), and in the last days his land will be called "Babylon the Great" which holds greater confusion like never before for the populations of the earth.  God also calls this same land "the land of Nimrod".  (Babel).

So as I see it, when Babylon morphs into "Babylon the Great" it only makes sense that when the False prophet's kingdom arrives, he will unite the world under "his system" using the Mark of the beast and this land, his land, spiritually called the land of Assyria therefore turns into Babel again.  The world will be one,  ....and all those other gods will be replaced with the worship of just one false god, one belief system, like it was before.

But all this is a serious war between God and the Sons of God that rebelled and we are the pawns that will be used in this battle....     the difference between this battle and chess is that the pawns aren't set aside as collateral damage...

But like chess, some of these pawns will be promoted: all those that make it to the end of their file/course can be promoted into any piece the King wants to make them at all.

Micah 5:6   And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders.

Micah 5:7   And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people as a dew from the LORD, as the showers upon the grass, that tarrieth not for man, nor waiteth for the sons of men.

Micah 5:8   And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.

Micah 5:9   Thine hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off.

It's clear to me that this chapter is speaking of Christ's return. Babel was long gone at the time of the prophecy, yet it's shows that Babel is existing here again in the last days when Christ returns.T

Assyria is the territory now generally held by ISIS: Sunni Islamists. The bloodthirsty and brutal acts of ISIS are very reminiscent of the Ancient Assyrians, greatly feared for their cruelty.  Babylon is held by Iraqi Shia Islamists.

The remnant of Jacob is earthly Israel, after the Rapture but during the Wrath. When the Lord comes, he will take up his bride, but also deal with his earthly chosen people, punishing and purging and subsequently exalting them. They will again have the powers to war that David's mighty men had.

Exactly that.  The mark will be the "buy-in" and the image of the beast is on-going worship of the false prophet as god.  The scope is global.

I liken the image of the beast to a weaponized code of conduct, similar to what we've seen play out in colleges, corporations, etc. where people get fired for violations of what the PC crowd deems inappropriate behavior.  The image of the beast, however, will apply to everyone on earth.  Violations don't get you fired, they get you killed.  This is how the false prophet wages war on the saints.

I can see a scenario where the masses who have been deceived by the signs and wonders of the false prophet buy into the lie that he is god.  The false prophet gives everyone 30 days to get his mark and as part of that process, people get to weigh-in on the creation of this code of conduct.  It's the people who build the image so they have a sense of ownership.  The false prophet gives it life by making it law.  The penalty for non-compliance is death.  Everyone is an informant.  It's self policing.  If you think we're too civilized to murder people for non-compliance then turn around and shake the hand of your new neighbor.  He would enjoy nothing more than killing infidels.  The global muslim "migration" isn't for no reason.

Just a scenario I see as plausible.  Time will tell.

that is my same thought, and it is told to us in scripture of how it will be , and those were given a choice, but can the people endure until the end ? can they sacrifice and go with out food, and shelter, ? will they believe in God the almighty over the needs of there bodies, if forced too, this is real , and its not far fetched at all, for you are already tracked by your banks already , so the system is there, but it will just become completely controlled, to no escape, and no way to run, for the banks today can follow your travel by your purchases, and its already feed into a monitor system, now place a governing law, and restrict what is needed , and bam ! you are forced to comply , or refuse and be taken away and killed, this is already in motion, and the fema camps and giliotines  are already here, so this is a ,race of time, of when it will happen, but it will be placed after a event big enough to bring the country to its knees first, it is here we are at the doors, we need to be praying and getting right with God now, and be prepared , so now is the time of salvation, for we do not know what tomorrow will bring? then again to be politically correct, this is my opinion, and  my view, my nind just kinda wanders from time to time,  ?so know one thinks I am saying something that's not true , blessings to you , and last daze tell it like is, your doing a great job ,  ;)

That whole beast in it's entirety which carries the Woman WAS (in rule before), and IS NOT  (in rule now) and SHALL ascend out of the bottomless pit. (Future, end times)

Completely agree.

On 1/28/2016 at 9:04 PM, Sister said:

7 kings in total.  (7 major empires this woman sits on)  "five are fallen", 1. Egpt, 2. Assyria, 3. Medo-Persia, 4. Babylon, 5. Grecia,

"one is" - 6. ROME WAS RULING (NOT FALLEN YET)

"and the other is not yet come" - FUTURE, LAST KING, THE ONE THAT IS THE 7TH AND TURNS INTO THE 8TH.  THAT ONE.

Agreed, with two minor exceptions: reverse Medo-Persia and Babylon in your order, and the 7th does not "turn into" the 8th. See below.

On 1/28/2016 at 9:04 PM, Sister said:

Revelation 17:11   And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

Again,  a repeat of verse 10, this one that reigns for a short space will go into perdition.  Will go down, not up.  This last kingdom will be judged and will be no more.

"of the seven": literally, "out of/ek the seven." The 7th head/king does not go into perdition. The 8th king (who is not a head, but has the heads) does, when he is cast into the lake of fire. The 8th king is the Beast itself, the Beast of Rev. 13ff.:

Rev. 19:20 Then the Beast was captured and...cast into the lake of fire...

This Beast comes "out of the seven (heads)" in the sense that it takes over all of the governmental orders and group-thinks that they had established over the millennia. That is why the Beast is said to be like the bear, leopard, and lion.

On 1/28/2016 at 9:04 PM, Sister said:

This last end time kingdom takes over the whole earth.  Rules over every single nation, every single man, small or great, rich or poor, free or bond.

The WHOLE WORLD IS GIVEN INTO HIS HANDS, AND THE WORLD IS ONE AGAIN.

Not necessarily. By claim, quite likely. But there are too many scriptures, such as Rev. 12, that talk about places and circumstances where God will protect his people on earth during these times. For comparison, Daniel told Nebuchadnezzar:

Dan. 4:22 ...thy greatness is grown, and reacheth unto heaven, and thy dominion to the end of the earth.

This was hyperbole, for Nebuchadnezzar's kingdom was much more limited. A like hyperbole was used for the Assyrian Empire:

Ezek. 31:6 ...under his shadow dwelt all great nations. 12 ...all the people of the earth are gone down from his shadow, and have left him.

In contrast, the angel promised Daniel that in the Time of the End,

Dan. 12:1 ...your people shall escape/be delivered, every one who is found written in the book.

Rev 12:14
14 And the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, in order that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she was nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.
NASB

Two wings of a great eagle (USA) so she can sly into the wilderness (Oklahoma/Texas) and be safe and nourished for 3 and a half years.  We are working on keeping both the Devil and Islam out of our two states.....    maybe with a little help from God we can make a safe haven for the saints....

The beast that goes into perdition/damnation in Rev. 17, is clearly the scarlet colored beast called Babylon the great.  Translated, Babylon the great = modern-day AMERICA.  It is AMERICA that has gone into damnation.

Good stuff to ponder, Sister.

im not convinced it will be a world rule though.  I know often when the bible says whole world or all, it does not mean whole world, just whole world back then surrounding Israel.

Plus, the seals limit war to one-fourth of the land, which may mean exactly one fourth of the world is affected.
