People start a business to make a profit.  They are naturally going to pay as little as possible.

Paying as little as possible does NOT equate to being highly profitable. The original Henry Ford proved this.

I wonder if one preached to the monetary poor that they would have a bigger inheritance than any on earth, they would be more receptive to it.

I doubt it

NEVER change the Message of the Gospel for anyone - no compromise, no worldly enticements.

The poor were more receptive than the rich.  That's still true today.

That's what happened in the NT.

Remember Paul said : Look around in the assembly.  Not many rich, not many educated... etc

People don't want to give up their lives, or their possessions,

even to have eternal life.

I don't see how that is changing anything according to the Word, since that is in the bible.

Paying people a livable wage is entirely doable in the US, commensurate upon work experience, education level, etc (not every job position in every industry should pay the same rate but one could still make a livable wage) if there were less unions, less or no outsourcing jobs to other countries, and less greed. The latter is the cause of the two former problems, unfortunately. How to regulate greed? I don't know if the government can do that, but it would be nice if they could.

Dear sister Deidre,

Grace and mercy and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

I understand you perfectly, sister Deidre. Of course, the world without sin would be much better.

Nevertheless, the problem of this world is not a sin per se, but our lack of willingness and courage to seek in Jesus Christ all the spiritual inheritance that He has promised to us (2Corinthians 9.6-9; Ephesians 1:3; 3.19-21; 2 Peter 1:3).

May Jesus help us receive His abundant grace and His gift of righteousness that are far more abundant than any sin existing in this world:

·        “For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.). Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:” (Romans 5.17,20).

That instead of lamenting the sins of others or even wanting their punishment, may we take advantage of their wickedness to show Jesus Christ and the greatness of His grace and forgiveness to those who are willing to receive it in their lives.

I say fair share for everyone. Sone plot land/house/apartment, after the real needs, enough garden-or somewhere-where you can grow. Same can go for the rest needed.  Fair share, where everyone get a quota for what they by free will contribute, then free can go grab what they NEED after need not greed. Yes of course under supervision.  That could go for free energy too. And more. But it would take that everyone distribute equally. Rich and poor.

In Scandinavia, they have 40% tax. It wasnt always that way. The Scandinavian countries refused in the early 70'ies to join EEC. So they were punished with high prices. Anyway three items, for £10. And a very small sortiment. You get almost or free childcare, if youre low income, or you pay up to £200-300.  Hospitals and doctors free. If you get hurt you only pay very little. Stores take 25% VAT.  Everything cost three times more than Uk. Cars are so expensive many cant afford it, and the check up each third year cost between £3000-5000. The registration fee too. You can get a luxury car for a normal car there.  Public transportations are very good its everywhere. Its got expensive but still wayyyy cheaper than Uk. Many bike, there are bike roads everywhere. Straight beside the traffic. Nice space between cars too. You have nature free to go where you like how long you like, and outside your door. Schools are free and universities and colleges. You get bennefits if you cant work, but at least one country has start to make what you get so low you cant make it. Thats for so many abusing it. And all the foreigners coming. Work week is 37 hours. Could go on. High living standard.
