This is worthy of one of hawkeyes bute moments. Those of you in chat know what I mean.

Truly delusional thinking on the part of some. To stop seawater rise, shoot it 2 miles above antarctica, where it will freeze.

Quote

A sea-level expert at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research and one of the study’s authors says ... pump excess seawater more than two miles into the air to the top of the Antarctic ice sheet, where it would freeze and stay put — for a very long time, although not forever.

I would love to see the pumps capable of doing that with enough volume to make a difference.

You might regret it other one. Altho I have to admit, her scheme for mt everest still makes me laugh.

She uses a nebulizer with albuterol. For a few minutes she basically loses her mind. She tends to want to destroy national treasures when that happens. Her scheme for mount everest was simple. It needed to be less dangerous and more accessible to tourists. So lop off the top of it, have helicopters lower it down to where its more readily accessible so folks could climb it. And pay for this all through tshirt sales to tourists. Its only logical.

She also thought Stone Henge was pointless...even for historical sentiment. She proposed grind it down to dust and selling it to tourists. lol

And then there was the classic line "stop having ships!"

She wanted to remake a famous lighthouse because it was too pointy and could hurt someone if it fell over. When it was pointed out that lighthouses are necessary for navigation, she replied "stop having ships!"

We all got a good giggle out of that one.

you don't want to do that.....    it's putting in more water than you take out that is causing earthquakes here....     we are disposing of ours and some of Arkansas frack water and the earthquakes moved here and pretty much stopped in Arkansas....     and some of ours are getting into the 5.0 and up range which is scary as hell to go through
