The fundamental reason why you should listen to God's Word (the Holy Bible) is that you face an eternity in Hell (the Lake of Fire) without Christ.  This is not "religion" but literally a matter of life and death.

It Is

Ya' know, not all of reality can be proven by evidence of an empirical nature?
