I believe receive the Holy Spirit and the Fullness in Power with Our Spiritual Gifts as the Holy Spirit chooses and by His Will gives us, not by the need of Water Baptism or by Praying in Tongues If You Have Tongues as a Spiritual Gift, I see its a Valid Spiritual Gift. And we as we follow Jesus Grow and are Enpowered by the Holy Spirit as we Pray Read and Study Gods Word Grow in our Christian Faith within that alone. Holy Spirit baptism is given to those who are sincere (i did ask for it about year...) tongues are sign that follow each case. gift of tongues are that you get several of them or can translate each of them. you dont need praying with tongues?? that is with what HOLY SPIRIT BUILD YOU, pray for you, that you dont know, you need of.. you surely need it, thats why everyone get at least (if not given gift of tongues) ONE tongue. with a second, btw. or less... how? read acts there are several ways. When I was Baptized in the river,(I received the Holy Spirit). Ever since that day,I was never,the same..My husband said I wasn't the women ,he had Married. We can have that same power and not speak in tongues. And Eha I am reminded of a story about Dr. Dwight L. Moody. He had such a powerful encounter with God that after several hours, he had to ask God to stay His Hand because he could no longer physically bear it.
