Your statements above contradict each other, but it would appear that according to your understanding of Paul's teaching: FAITH + WORKS = SALVATION So then the question arises, how many works will save you, and what must be the quality of those works? In other words, how perfect must your works (quality + quantity) be in order to save you? However the Bible clearly teaches that we are JUSTIFIED BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH. This puts the entire burden of salvation on the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore our faith is imputed (accounted) to us as righteousness.
