Ask God;

Hebrew 9:27, And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:  That's includes all mankind until the return of Jesus, unless of course God intervenes miraculously.

This was a miraculous event by Jesus to demonstrate God's power over Satan, to glorify God, to set an example for all gospel ministers, to demonstrate the full salvation for body, soul, and spirit, to destroy the works of Satan, to give abundant life (John 10:10),

Not everyone will die.

1 Corinthians 15:51  Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— What does this tell you?

There were others who were raised from the dead as well.  In context, Hebrews 9:27 is meant to substantiate the sufficiency of Christ's death to bear the sins, once.  If you continue the sentence started in verse 27 you'll find:

  • And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment, so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.  Hebrews 9:27-28

You have to finish the sentence.  The notion that absolutely everyone dies once and only once is not what v27 is saying.  While it is most generally true, it is not meant to be taken as an absolute.

Sleeping is what comes after death.  It is not death itself.

  • Many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake, these to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting contempt.  Daniel 12:2

In the Bible sleeping in relation to death does not mean literal sleep. It is death. Those who believe in soul sleep believe it is in reference to the whole body that lies in the grave after death. That is not Biblical. The soul immediately goes to heaven or hades. Only the body remains in the grave and waits for the resurrection.

Not going to get into what "sleeping" is other than it follows death.  It is not the same thing as death.  Have a great day.

You can give the words in your Bible you own meaning which is what many do but it is death. Have a nice day. :)

Which is what eisegesis is all about; reading what we want into scripture, instead of letting scripture form our beliefs (exegesis). And it's a dangerous thing to do; not only do we not innately have God's perspective (that's what scripture is for, after all: to give us that perspective), but that sin and this world can often influence us in ways we do not realize. The end result is that little by little, we will end up trying to conform scripture more and more to this world, rather than letting scripture reveal the truth about this world and ultimately ourselves. It is akin to reshaping a mirror when we do not like the reflection: the more we twist it to show us what we wish to see, the less accurately it reveals what is reflected in it.

When we seek to realign the Bible to our own viewpoints, those influences will make themselves realized and skew the clear word of God. This is the effect of sin, and why eisegesis is the absolute worst way to interpret anything (let alone scripture). Since we are the creation and not the Creator, "imposing our own meaning" on the word of the one who made us is a really bad idea.

I don't have to do anything. The Bible, the Word of God, clearly says;

Hebrews 9:27, " 27, And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

Then they are judged.

So unless one is translated, or miraculously raised from this death by God, as Lazarus was to die again of old age, all men die once. Now if people want to add to what God says about this, then that's between them and God. :thumbsup:
