The study finds that women are generally – but not universally – more religious than men in several ways. Indeed, data collected for the study show that in some religions and some contexts, men are as, or even more, religious than women...." http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2016/03/23/qa-why-are-women-generally-more-religious-than-men/ "Christianity presents itself as a religion of the powerless: 'Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.' Depending on your point of view, that’s appealingly feminine or appallingly effeminate. Friedrich Nietzsche wrote in his characteristically abrasive way that women need 'a religion of weakness that glorifies being weak, loving, and … humble as divine.'" When it comes to Christianity, I wonder if Muslims "think" like Nietzsche?

Well, if I were the serpent, I might reason, that God told Adam what to do and what not to do. So, why not approach Eve? Her knowledge might be second hand, and therefore less certain in her mind, more easily fooled, easier to get doubting. Knowing she had Adam's ear, maybe she could divide his loyalty. However, why speculate, we know what happened to the degree that God chose to reveal it to us, and we know what is expected of us now. If I had a definite answer to the OP's question, I am not sure what could be gained from it. Each of us is accountable to God for how we know His will and how we respond to it, and there is no gender excuse for our failures.

Some think women are more spiritual, others think men are more spiritual. Where does this come from? Because it doesn't come from the the Bible. Women are not more "easily fooled" - that isn't in the Bible. What IS in the Bible is that Jesus Christ told John in the Revelation that the devil deceives the whole world and that Paul said that sin deceived him and that he was afraid for the church of Corinth that they were going to succumb to the deception that Eve fell for. Eve was deceived because she got into a conversation with the devil. Adam who was "with her" just defiantly disobeyed. We as men and women today have inherited both of that. We, today, are still deceived by the devil from time to time. He can deceive us into believe that we NEED that porn, extra food, anger, vengeance, and more - we NEED it or we will die! And like Adam, sometimes we just deliberately disobey. We should ALL be confessing our sins daily and repenting of them daily - not sitting around wondering who is more sinful or who is more spiritual - men or women. God told Adam not to eat the fruit. It is not clear Even knew that, other than as hearsay. My reading between the lines is: "Adam, because you listened to your wife (instead of me, that makes you disobedient and an idolator), I pronounce this curse . . . " Whereas with Eve, she was deceived by an evil spiritual entity, with an eternity of experience, compared with her relatively innocent and naive newness.
