Notice that verse 16 says, "And the ten horn which thou sawest upon Babylon the great (upon the beast), these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire." How does one interpret the scripture above? Which nation today represents "Babylon the great"? Whom do "the ten horns" represent? And whom does "the whore" represent? And what does "eat her flesh" mean?

No, it is not. Babylon the Great is portrayed as a woman "sitting on [the] Beast." If you are a head or a horn of the Beast, you are a part of it. If you are sitting upon it, you are not a part of it, you are only closely associated with it. Until you acknowledge this fact, you'll get nowhere in your understanding. And what does "eat her flesh" mean? Hi Fayec The whore who sits on the beast as William stated, is in charge, and the one who is making all the nations drunk with her teachings. Her teachings are her system. The system of this world today is from her. The 10 kings have a new system in mind. They will tear down her system as we know it, and create a new one. They will bring in new laws, and have already started this to prepare us for the False Prophet (Son of Perdition) which is to come. This is how they "eat her flesh" by "destroying her system" (the way the world operates) The 10 kings will destroy this current system by introducing the Mark of the Beast. To do this they have to bankrupt the world first so a new form of trade can be made. The way the world will trade will be through this Mark of the Beast. Without it no man can buy or sell. They are currently eating her flesh today as we speak but not finished.

In 1204 the crusaders entered constantinople and burned and looted her. The woman was that great city. The 10 horns were the germanic kingdoms that appeared on the beast (the roman empire). This also helps us to see when this prophecy was fulfilled. In 90 AD when the Revelation was written the beast (roman empire) had no horns. They migrated into the western empire in the 4th and 5th centuries. They hated constantinople because of religious rivalry - that is well documented in history. In 1204 their hatred found expression in an orgy of looting. The city was stripped of her wealth. She was left burned and naked.
