I never did. How is responding with my own opinion, an attack? As for casting out demons, well I never suggested that they should. I pointed out that witch doctors would only make it worse and you agree with me on that. I also pointed out that Jesus is the name that they fear. Then I responded to a post claiming that is was media-sensationalisation which suggests that the poster was claiming that the story was either false or it could all be put down to something they ate or drank. I personally think that's a naive opinion typical of somebody who doesn't believe in the supernatural. I would expect an Atheist to claim that something like this is probably due to eating something. I'm not saying that the poster is an Atheist but I really wouldn't expect that from a believer. The number of times I've heard the arguments against supernatural occurrences being put down to somebody eating something or being on drugs or other such thing reminds me of the time in the Book of Acts when doubters accused those of speaking in tongues of being drunk. But there is no reason to believe that the story is not true as it is written. The fact that ouija boards were used suggests to me that the story is very credible. And of course being on the internet doesn't mean that it is true, but I expect somebody to discredit a news article after several discussions about its authenticity, maybe providing some links that would cast doubt on it, not just come thrashing straight in and doubting it as if such a thing is too ridiculous to even consider as being real, which in all honesty is the impression that I got. I apologise if I got the wrong impression but the OP was about demon possession and now it seems as if the story is just not worth believing but without one shred of evidence as to why it shouldn't be believed other than you have a feeling that it isn't real, but you didn't want to say. Would you like to share your opinions as to why you think that no demon possession has taken place? After all that is what 'giggling appy' is claiming. You defended her so I'm guessing that you believe the same as she does. Go back and read what she wrote. She thinks its just media sensationalisation. She doubts if demonic possession took place, and she thinks that they may have eaten or drunk something that has caused them to be like this. She also doubts the story because the hospital staff found nothing. Well I suspect that they wouldn't find anything if demonic possession took place, so that makes the story even more authentic in my opinion. If they had actually found something such as drugs then I would be inclined to believe that there is no demonic activity involved -not the other way round. I can cite personal examples. What folks are doubting is an unsubstantiated blurb out of south america from a questionable source. I have seen these kinds of stories in the grocery store scandal sheets for years. Mom always got them (and pretended they just fell into her pile of groceries lol).
