Have you asked him if he is willing to search the Scriptures with you and see for himself that Jesus is the true Messiah of Israel? If he is adamantly opposed to Christ and the Gospel, then it is a lost cause. If you are a woman and he is a man, forget about *friendship*. It is either courtship or nothing. I think Ezra is right as far as inviting him to explore the Scriptures with you if he is against Jesus Christ. Is it possible to just be friends or would that be too complicated ? Just do not get into a rebound relationship. That can cause added problems. A Christian can not be unevenly yoked and get into a relationship or marry and unbeliever.
