I didn't know about it either till my second drip to the ER with severe chest pains... they could not find anything wrong except an elevated heart rate. i was having some lung congestion and had read that green tea was good for what ails you..... so I whipped up a big old coffee pot of some pretty strong stuff and an hour later after drinking most of the pot, I really thought I was going to die. It wasn't until we started putting pieces together from the first trip to the er that I remembered the green tea. After researching on the internet one of the side effects of overdosing green tea is angina. Who would have guessed..... good information that cost a ton to find out..... the er trip ended up costing the insurance company about $20,000.
