Christopher Hi Christopher, and Welcome, If you have never read The Life and Times of Jesus the Messiah by Alfred Edersheim, you should do so. But there are some Baptists (Landmark) who claim to trace their lineage back to John. The only problem is that his was a baptism unto repentance for Israel.
