I just talked to our Youth Pastor and according to him the way did got them into the system has been stopped because of the problems that have occurred with them being in dangerous places. They may open it up again after some system is set up to vet the locations for safety for the users. it's my understanding that pedophiles were using them to attract kids into places it isn't safe and we all know about putting them in the middle of the interstate causing accidents. Right now only the makers of the game can place them and I don't know of any way right now to get in touch with them.... our church was involved early in the make up of it so we have permanent placements. In the case of your Church, it sounds like they are procured and placed by the public and not placed by some secret outfit in Japan or Google. it was placed by the software in the app, but has been discontinued until they can set up some system to vet the requests to be safe and in places that don't put kids at risk. Unless you know someone from the company that developed the software i don't know of a place and can't find any. Google the name of a church, like a megachurch, or just google "churches" in any given area. The website of any church lists times of services and events. But then since I dont play it, I dont really understand much of what its about other than tracking down animated cartoons. Some of the "arguments" against it are far fetched though.
