I was reminded of it when I was in high school. My first job. Working in the canary in Gresham. Some of my friends said " Hey! it is good pay". I get there and worked at the belt making sure all the gross things get picked out of the berries before they go to be processed for jam. My ears were burning from some of the conversations I heard from some of these older women. You would not believe all the creepy crawlies that did not get picked out that went into that jam. I worked the night shift and got home at 4AM. That was my last night because my dad said " You will quit I will not have you coming home at 4 oclock in the morning" .
