Would you please answer this question? it is the price Mary had to pay for Joseph's cover up - which would have had dire consequences then as even now - wincam 36 minutes ago, Out of the Shadows said: The Bible tells us Jesus had siblings, where did they come from if not from Mary. Who are the parents of the brothers of Jesus. Simple question.

So, the catholic church was right up to that point. However, it is stated that Jesus had actual blood siblings (Mark 6:3 and Matthew 13:55-56) and since, well, he was not blood related to Joseph, then Mary obviously did not remain a virgin after having Jesus, nor was it ever prophesied-nor stated in scripture, that she was to. There was no "cover up" and a man of such high integrity as Joseph is held, would not cheat, nor leave Mary, after Jesus was born, especially knowing who Jesus was. There was no cover up-just a bunch of adding things to scripture, that were never there to begin with.

Can you just clearly say what it is you want to say,you seem to have a beef with Joseph, mary's husband.....why? From everything you post it seems you either do not believe Gods Word as the Inerrant God Inspired Word (His Timeless Truth)or you just don't read the Bible ? You call the man"StJoseph" & in the next breath you say he had a "cover up"......how does a "Saint" be a Godly man & a liar at the same time? Anyway,it there something you want to establish here,a point you are trying to make? Please, let us know without talking in riddles.....we would really like to carry on a nice reciprocal discussion with you.....Jesus loves you,do you know that? Are you trying to promote the Catholic doctrine of the "perpetual (everlasting) virginity of Mary"?

I'm not even sure what they were and if they still exist. Further, when I think of making someone a eunuch I kinda cringe. In fact, I never even heard the word eunuch until I read the Bible.
