Homemade Guacamole

This homemade guacamole is really good :)

4 avocados, halved,seeded and peeled

1 lime,juiced

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 medium onion (diced)

1/2 Jalapeno pepper (seeded and minced) if you want it hotter use the whole pepper

2 Roma tomatoes (seeded and diced)

1 Tbsp chopped cilantro

1 Clove garlic (minced)

In a large bowl place the avocado and the lime juice, toss to coat. Drain and reserve lime juice after all of the avocados have been coated. Using potato masher mash avocados well and add the salt. Then fold in onions, jalapeno pepper, tomatoes, cilantro and garlic. Add tablespoon of the reserved lime juice. Let sit at room temperature for one hour then serve.

* Note... always wear rubber gloves when seeding hot peppers.

ENJOY!!!!

Thanks for the recipe ,  Yum! Just love guacamole . If  you don't have a hot pepper , you can always substitute a few shakes of good chili powder.

Yes, you can do substitutions. But the basic recipe is very tasty and it is an easy recipe to make.
