Johnson has been praised by democrat leaders.

So has Donald Trump

Johnson is ceo of a company whose purpose is to make marijuana available, a product he used for 3 years while recovering from injuries following paragliding accident.

I support the legalization of marijuana.

Johnson is ceo of a tax deductible political action group. Just like clinton.

And?

Johnson endorses same sex marriage.

As long as the government is going to give special advantages and perks to "married" people, then so do I.  He and I both think the government no business in the marriage business.

Johnson raised 2.3 million dollars during the last election and spent ... 13,000 while racking up 225,000 in debt. Two million went to a single company of "advisors" who coincidentally are in the same building as his tax deductible political action group.

Donald Trump has spent more than$6 million from his campaign for businesses, assets and services bearing his name.

Special perks, like the marriage penalty when paying taxes?

The marriage tax penalty as it is called affects less than 5% of the households in this country and can be avoided.  The ability to file jointly on the other hand could help just about everyone else.  Outside of that there are IRA benefits, SS benefits, inheritance benefits, legal decision making, visitation benefits,  and more all assigned to marriage in our country.

Marriage is between one  man and one woman (who are not otherwise related).  That is the only version of marriage that exists.   Gay marriage isn't marriage.  They do not deserve and should be barred from all of those benefits.

Why should those benefits be tied to a religious sacrament?  What does filing your taxes jointly have to do with religion?

It's not  a religious sacrament, unless your a Roman Catholic or some other denomination.   Biblical marriage is the foundation of a healthy society.  Homosexuality is unhealthy and destructive to our society.  Homosexuality is an abnormal, filthy putrid lifestyle.  It creates unhealthy societies and it should not be rewarded with benefits.   We should do nothing to reward, legitimize or promote homosexuality because it is to our communities what flesh eating bacteria is to the human body.

Whatever you wish to call it, you are still advocating basing a purely secular/civil law upon purely religious reasons.  That is not how we do things in this country.

Marriage isn't just about religion.  It is the foundation of a healthy society.   Sorry, but real marriage has a religious component, but it also has a secular component, as well.   No one has to be a Christian in order to be in a married according to the biblical model.  Even the ancient Greeks, most of whom were faggots, ended up having to have laws that forced them to marry women so that Greek society would not become extinct.

Marriage, as the Bible defines it, is good for society and gay "marriage" is not and should be banned.
