Watch out, watch out..... Jew hatred is about!

Worthy is becoming a target for anti-Semites..... There are a number of posters who are favouring Islam over the ideology of the Jews.

Be wary. The posters are subtle..... they don't declare their their anti-Jewish sentiments outright.... just a little hint here and there.

Let me remind everybody:

Judaism - came from God.

Islam - came from Satan.

No contest!

If you catch any subtle antisemitism, please click on "report post" and explain that and how it is antisemitic. Thank-you!

Well Anti-Semitism has been on the rise for a while, and is becoming more blatant in the USA and Europe than ever before.  But Governor Christie of New Jersey just signed a bill (as have other state governors) which will prevent State pension funds from being invested in "boycott-Israel" companies. So many states (apart from the federal government) are declaring their solidarity with Israel.

As to the "ideology" of the Jews, there are in fact several ideologies at work:

1. The secular state of Israel rejects the Messiah but supports LGBTQ. Their ideology is survival (which is fine) but they have no use for God and Christ.

2. Orthodox Jews reject secularism and wait for their Messiah. They try to be strictly Torah observant, but fail to acknowledge Christ.

3. Jews in the USA perhaps overwhelmingly support Obama and Hillary Clinton (66% support in Florida), in spite of their love for Radical Islam and Iran, and their hatred of Israel.  This reflects blind liberalism and left-liberalism more than anything else.

4. Some Jews such as George Soros, the Rothschilds (and others of extreme wealth) are actually enemies of the Jews, and work for Satan against them in many ways.

5. Finally we have Messianic Jews, who are really brothers and sisters in Christ, but prefer to isolate themselves from Gentile Christians.

I take issue with this. I attend a Messianic congregation and we definitely do not separate ourselves from gentile believers. None of the Jewish believers keep themselves apart or uplift themselves. Such a blanket statement is false.

Most Messianic Jews in the US are members of local churches.  They might meet in Messianic Jewish congregations over the Sabbath, but they also attend local church services.  Also, they open up their Messianic congregations to Gentile believers as well.  I know of Gentile pastors who are also in leadership roles in Messianic Jewish congregations.  Even in Israel, there are churches made up of believers who are both Messianic  Jewish and Arab as well other types of Gentiles, as well.  So, to say they isolate themselves from Gentile Christians is nonsense.

I don't think it was meant to be a blanket statement, but perhaps it's a naive one. There are Messianic Jews who integrate and there are Messianic Jews who separate themselves.... Messianic Jews come in different shapes and colours.

The point is not whether they invite Gentile believers.  The point is that they set up separate congregations to promote their teachings (which include Torah observance) but do not join existing churches. Please note:

Should Jews really attempt to assimilate into churches and forego their Jewish identity when they choose to put their faith in the Jewish Messiah? Messianic Judaism answers, "No!" As Yeshua Himself embraced His Jewishness, Messianic Jews seek to embrace theirs, by meeting in congregational communities with other Jewish believers and by maintaining a Biblically Jewish expression of their faith. Every congregation is different, but this expression often means worshiping in Hebrew, following Mosaic Law, dancing as King David did before the Lord, and keeping Biblical holidays such as Pesach, Sukkot, or Shavuot.

The New Testament does not encourage this at all. Paul made it clear that sabbath days and holy days were but shadows, and that the Old Covenant was obsolete.  So these are major theological changes.

Not every Messianic congregation is like that. There is also nothing wrong with worshiping in Hebrew. After all, people who are of asian ethnicity often attend an asian church to worship in their native language, so why should a Messianic congregation suddenly be bad?

Since English has become the language of the world, worshiping in Hebrews automatically excludes 99% (or more) of Christians from participating.  So it effectively isolates Messianics.
